 Africa is one of the fastest growing continent in the world these is fueled by the availability of raw materials and labour force, since most of it's population is youth  and most of them are jobless however there are some of the countries which are more developed than others and these is caused by many factors example political stability, availability of resources weather condition e.t.c. These are Top ten most developed countries in Africa:

1 Nigeria

Nigeria is the richest country in Africa with a GDP of $555.346 billion and 27th globally. Nigeria with a population of over 200million people relay mainly in finance sector, transportation, infrastructure, tourism and aboudance crude oil. According to O.P.E.C the country exports about 1.6 million barrels of crude oil per day making it Africa largest crude oil exporter, petroleum accounts to 10% of countries GDP and 80% countries exporter. Nigeria's also other Natural resource which contribute to the countries growth include coal,zink,tin, Natural gas among others. Agriculture also contributes to the economies growth cocoa and rubber is among the crops which contribute largely to the economy, but due to political unrest the country have slowed down in the growth of the economy.

2 Egypt

Egypt with GDP of $ 438.348 billions and 33 globally, for many years this northern Africa country have been holding the title of the richest country in Africa. The economy of Egypt was hearmed by Arab uprising in 2011, Tourism is one of it's source of income other sources are Natural gas,hotel,retail trade, 
Construction and real Estates

3 South Africa

South Africa is a prominate influence in the continent with a GDP of $ 435.212 billion and 34th globally is regarded as the fastest growing country in the world. South Africa also known as Rainbow Nation is  one of the few  Nation which does not depend on a single source of income Mining, Manufacturing and financial services are one of important source of income. Natural resource and raw materials such as Gold, Platinum,Coal, Diamond and also iron-ore are one of the Natural resource,and it's one of the leading exporter of these Metals in the world. The country is also known as the major Tourist Attractions in Africa however political and global Trabulance have hambled the country to reach its full potential. South Africa is one of the country which leads in quality where the gap of the poor and the rich is so big.

Algeria with a GDP of $ 168.195 billion and 58th globally is the continents lagest country which is found in the Northern part of Africa. Oil and gas dominates the countries economy which accounts to 19% of GDP and over 90%  of products exports.

5 Morocco

Morocco is a North Africa country with a GDP of $132.648 billion and 60th globally is second nun oil producing country. Manufacturing is the main source which accounts to 30% of the GDP, Agriculture accounts to 15%. Morocco is the 3rd world producer of phosphorus the country has reaped of export in Electrical equipment, motor vehicle parts , textile and Telecommunication industry contribute significantly to the economy

6 Kenya

Kenya with GDP of $116.641 billion and 62 globally  is an East African country noted by wild animals and great land scape, it's the wealthiest in south east ana Central Africa with stable increase of coffee,tea and Horticulture, it's coastal for  centuries have been a trading  area for countries from  Asia and Arab countries. Kenya is not Depending on Oil but with the recent discovery of Oil it is expected to be one of wealthiest country in Africa.

7 Ethiopia

Ethiopia with a GDP of $ 93.970 billion and 66 globally is a landlocked country splitted by great Riftvalley is also a East African country. The history birth of coffee bean it's the country which produces most coffee and honey in Africa, legume and oil seeds it also depends on construction and processing. Agriculture accounts for 40%  in the countries GDP.

8 Ghana


Ghana with a GDP of $ 82.0178 billion and 71 globally is first west African and sub- Sahara to attain independent and first to cut extreme poverty into half. The countries economy depends on Agriculture especially cocoa. Its also produce minerals like Gold and Natural resource such as oil and gas.

9 Ivory coast

Ivory coast with a GDP of $ 75. 075 billions and 72 globally is another west African country. 70% of the people in Ivory coast depends on Agriculture the country is the main producer of cocoa bean in the world it also produces rubber, minerals like Gold and Natural resource such as Crude oil and gas.

10 Angola

Angola with a GDP of $ 74.953 billion and 73 globally is home to raw minerals it could be higher in Africa but the country have surfared because of resource mismanagement and corruption, Angola economy is based on oil with oil reserves accounting to more than a third of National GDP. Crude oil accounts to 90%.of the countries revenue, Diamond and Gold are also notable minerals in Angola. Agriculture is also accounting to the economy, Angola civil war ended in 2002 since then positive growth is seen in Angola and it's the fastest growing country in Africa.
